Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. She began her reviews at the end of 2009 and, after she gained some fame (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. She remained member of the channel through January of 2015, in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which focus on the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She joined the network's family of movie critics. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. The actress was part of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also appear often on episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
